Balanced Essence was built on a belief shaped through early Indigenous influences of all life being connected and in relationship. After spending formative years living in a First Nation community then later working together with community members, and team of wonderful Indigenous healthcare leaders, a deeper understanding of balanced, respectful and loving relationships shaped perceptions of health and wellbeing.

Through a western worldview, this understanding connected energy meridians and reflex zone therapies of Reflexology with plant medicines of essential oils. A philosophical system emerged, viewing the human body as a microcosm, intimately connected to the macrocosm of the universe, using medical astrology as a tool-kit, Balanced Essence was born.

Providing the body with relaxation to increase receptivity, it becomes easier to work from the ground-up through plant medicines with essential oils, and we can combine a top-down approach looking at potential planetary influences on our energy, emotions, physical and mental health allowing us to balance the essence of our bodies from the inside-out.
